Brief Problem: For families living with disabilities, feeling like they can't participate in Umrah and Hajj can be heartbreaking. The inability to fulfill this religious obligation can evoke feelings of exclusion, inadequacy, and longing. And while wheelchair services exist for those with physical disabilities, there aren’t any solutions for those with neurological/invisible disabilities such as autism.
Revelation: However, research shows that integrating visual schedules (detailed itinerary and steps involved) into existing routines and rituals can significantly alleviate anxiety and help individuals with autism feel more comfortable and prepared when traveling.
